Blue hues

So sorry for not being around this week but I'm working on a craft project that is taking me a lot of time. I hope to finish it this week and I promise that next week I will flood you with outfit photos.

Top 5 outfits: August 2013

So, here come fall...at least that's what the calendar is saying, but judging for the temperatures that we are having here I'll say that it's fall in the morning and summer in he afternoon.

And now, for the top 5 outfits for last month (I think I'll do this every month :D ):

No. 1
I mean, who doesn't like to get dressed up every now and then. Details here.

No. 2
I had to feel special on a special day.
It's funny how the accessories change the colors out the outfit
(the real color of the dress is in the pic above). Details here.

No. 3
I love my maxi skirt. Details and tutorial here.

No. 4
I really like how pretty the blouse turned up. It paid my efforts on making it. Details here.

No. 5
I like how this outfit made me feel: comfortable and classy. Details here.

Please fall, just come already

The temperatures here are in constant changing....I really don't know what to wear anymore: one day it's very hot and in the other is very cold....ufff...can't wait for fall to really set in.

Wore this to work and was very comfortable but I was ok in the morning, I had a blazer on, and in the afternoon it was to hot for it...

Top from mom, shoes from aunt, jeans from random store.

Pink and animal print

I knew I nedded an animal print top but I didn't quite found one that was ok for the price and had a nice structure to it. So I decided to make one instead.

I wore this ensamble for work. I kind of changed it 3 times during the day because of the temperatures: in the morning I had it with a black cardigan and a white belt over it (blouse over the skirt), then I let go of the cardigan but I keept the belt and then it became so hot that I let go of the belt too and I just put the skirt over the blouse. I didn't took photos of the changes because I really didn't had time for that. But I will in the future :)

Navy, grey and burgundy on a hot day

I had a totally different outfit for Friday but I woke up in such a mood that the planned outfit was a little to fancy for my mood. Well, I can wear that outfit on another day.

Burgundy, white and navy

I just love the burgundy, white and navy combo. It just screams summer to me.
I wore this at work yesterday and I was really comfortable.

All items from my aunt.

And after work it was a quick go home, get changed, out the door for a meeting with some friends.

Excuse the hair and face (after all I was out for drinks :) ). Blouse from mom, shoes from aunt, pants from random store, bag I really don't know where I got it from.

New top on a new hot day

Another very hot day here in Bucharest and another week has started. I wore this at work on Monday, not only because I've just finished sewing the blouse over the weekend ( :D ) but because I needed something that was work appropriate and flowy enough for the non AC office.

Top handmade, pants and bag from my aunt, necklace from my mother-in-law and shoes from random store.

New navy maxi skirt

I didn't own any maxi skirt, and seeing that navy is now in trend I made myself a navy maxi skirt over the weekend. It was very easy to make and it's very suitable in these temperatures that we have here.

Skirt handmade, top, shoes, bag from aunt, necklace from my mom.
